MY Story of stuff...

Speaking of the "story of stuff," here's some stuff to ponder. Of all the stories being passed along on the planet Earth, how many are true? How many are agenda driven? The book "the story of stuff" was intended to replace books like the Bible, The Koran and writings such as the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution. Could someone please tell me how people who fart every time they speak could pull of replacing some of the most influential writings in Human history? Had I written"the Story of Stuff" I would not have bit off more than I could chew, or try to convince the world that breathing will destroy the Planet. My "Story of stuff" would probably just give my perspective on stuff. For instance.. the "green" movement is almost the pinnacle of human hipocrisy. It the only think I find more hipocritical than "green" is the notion that the USA is still the "land of the free." It is now the land of the free handouts for those that do nothing. We also have a fundamentally transformed "justice" system. the only rule is it's "just us" that should apologize to and pay for everything any non-American citizen thinks they deserve. It is ironic that little Al Gore's rise in politics was financed through illegal strip mining permits big daddy Gore gave to his pals in the pre 1970s Tennessee political "good ol' boys" mafia. Ask Fred Thompson who as a young prosecutor brought that group down. There was not enough evidence to prosecute little Al. Ironically, as the Goracle has made billions making crap movies, writing idiotic books, propagandizing the kids in the "green Hitler youth movement" and jetsets in his Gulfstream G3 (i think) around the world trying to tell people to sacrifice their livelihoods to save the planet, the ecosystem in parts of Tennessee is just now recovering from the Goracle family's exploitation. Now the good folks in Arizona have decided that they want their State and our Nation back and most Americans agree. The idea of restoring law and order and having a society free of kidnapping and human or drug trafficking is lunacy. For that we are "teabagging" racist nazis. Speaking of bags, I hope WE THE PEOPLE keep making those incumbent lifetime politicians who made this mess pack their bags (tea or otherwise) and join the masses in the unemployment lines. Then maybe they might have a different attitude about illegals taking jobs, sucking the economy dry and making things like driving far more dangerous and standing in line at the store take far longer. Now Calderone, the mexican drug cartel leader stands before a combined IQ of .0083 on Crapitol Hill and says we have no right to close our border...while anyone crossing into the failed state formerly known as Mexico is either jailed or shot. Of course, our immigration policy is a big fat joke...just like the guy we are told is the president is an illegal alien and should be deported, and his big fat wookie wife is not exactly native either (to Earth that is). Think about it; Chewbacca Obama looks like something that should be kept at Area 51 in Roswell NM instead of the White House, right? It's no wonder Mr. Karzai the leader of Afganistan is saying he's going to join the Taliban, after all BHO is a card carryng member himself and Karzai wants to stay on "our" good side. The biggest shame of it all is the White House chefs spend more time cooking crack cocaine than cooking food. So you go right on thinking we are the "land of the free" and I will sell you a mexican glacier for a dollar (or 3 billion pesos). The real question here is "am I joking or am I serious?"

So, Following up on Yesterday’s Post,  Puerto Rico – A New State full of Potential Progressive Voters, the House voted In Favor, including 50 of our closest allies  (Distance is relative, remember, Mars is the next closest planet to earth but still a long long… long way from us) the Republicans, to ‘reaffirm’ Puerto Rico’s right to self determination.  A right they have had for six decades now. Let me be clear® I am not against Puerto Rico becoming a State, not if that is really what the People IN –IN-Puerto Rico want.  Heck, it looks like it would be just an abs-o-lutely fantastic place to visit: The article below is actually from a LeftStreamMedia Source and it almost tells the whole story, of course without any outrage over the bills most ridiculous affront to common sense and ethics to come out of Washington, well in at least the last 24 hours:

Bitter debate ensues as House approves bill that could move Puerto Rico to statehood

  The House on Thursday approved a bill that could move Puerto Rico to statehood - exposing a rare and bitter rift between New York members from the island territory.

Bronx Democratic Rep. Jose Serrano ( THIS GUY is one of the worst, he is the one that always pushes the bill to remove presidential term limits) backed the measure, calling it a vital step to ending colonial rule, even as his usual ally, Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-Brooklyn) blasted it as a "disgrace," "shameful" and "appalling." (thank you for that, Nydia)

The measure offers Puerto Rico - a U.S. territory for 112 years - a two-step vote.

The first would ask whether Puerto Ricans -

including those living in the States - like the current territorial commonwealth status or if they want change.

If the vote is for change, a second vote would ask what change they want.

"For the first time in 112 years, the Congress of the United States will ask the 4 million American citizens (A huge Liberal Voting Bloc) in Puerto Rico what they wish their relationship to the United States to be," said Serrano.

Velazquez and Harlem Rep. Charlie Rangel, whose father was Puerto Rican, said the measure was a backdoor move to a statehood vote on the island that has failed three times in the past. –OH MY GOD, Charlie Rangel said something bordering on common sensical…  I expect to see unicorns any moment now…

"It is baffling that the statehood option, which lost in 1967, in 1993 and again in 1998, is now allowed to scheme its way to victory," Velazquez said.

Before the debate, the bill had offered three options for change: statehood, independence or an independent "free association" like three other former U.S. territories.

Velazquez argued that if keeping the current status was no longer on the ballot, statehood - always the second choice in the past - would win by default.

She favors a Puerto Rican constitutional convention.

Velazquez managed to win an amendment to add keeping the status quo to the choices.

"We restored some fairness to a badly flawed process," she said.

Still, Serrano was so pleased he wielded the final gavel, hammering it down with a wide smile.

As the drumbeat for Cap and Tax starts up again it is important not to forget how silly the whole Anthropogenic Climate Change argument has become and this post highlights that very well.  Apparently Air Traffic cools the planet.  Who knew?  The little vapor trails off of airplanes actually make temperatures go down planet wide (OH, COME ON!)

Correlation is not the same as Causation.  Grounding planes after 9/11 did not change WEATHER and it damn sure did not change CLIMATE. Following this logic I could say this: “ I ate a peanut butter sandwich yesterday and the sun shone all day long; therefore eating PB sandwiches makes the weather sunny and bright”. Secondly the GIANT ASH CLOUD *should* make it slightly, if not quite a bit, COOLER; despite the lack of contrails off of airplanes “making it hotter” (never mind that according to their standard fantasies jet exhaust makes the planet hotter).  So I guess the question in their minds (as if they used their minds to question anything) is:  Will the Man Made warming caused by Jet Exhaust be completely counteracted by the cooling effect of the Volcano (I am waiting for them to figure out a reason for the volcano eruption to be man-caused), and will the absence of the Jet Contrail water vapor contribute to more of a warming effect that the absence of jet exhaust will contribute to a cooling effect?   OH MY DEAR LORD -

According to a report in the UK Mail online, the widespread grounding of planes in Europe – due to the eruption of Iceland’s Mount Eyjafjallajokull – could lead to an increase in temperatures across that continent. From the article:

A study conducted after commercial flights were grounded for three days following the September 11 terror attacks found the average daily temperature range in the U.S. rose markedly - exceeding the three-day periods before and after by 1.8c. (or it could have been all that fuel that caught fire… big fire you know, could have made it warmer- hey it is more plausible than their ridiculous “theory”)
The grounding of flights in 2001 gave scientists a 'tarnished but golden opportunity' to study the impact that jet planes have on the climate. (WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER, and the answer is: imperceptible)
They matched the weather over those three days with similar weather in September over that period, and found that the difference in daily high and nightly low temperatures in the absence of planes' contrails was more than 1c greater. (also in the absence of Unicorns, meteor showers, UFO landings, all manner of things that also have no effect on the temperature)
Scientists claimed this showed that clouds formed by the water vapour in the exhaust from jet planes have a small but significant effect on daily temperatures. (one degree C = 1.8 (+32) degree F, really?  jet contrails impact national temperature daily by two degrees?)
The researchers said that in regions with crowded skies, the clouds formed by the planes' water vapour worked like cirrus clouds to prevent days from getting too hot and trapping the Earth's heat at night.

I thought the carbon emissions produced by jet fuel contributed to global warming? Now I find out that water vapor – a byproduct of jet fuel combustion – helps to moderate the earth's temperature. Do you ever get the feeling that some people want to have it both ways?

FDA Will Require Health Labels on Front of Food Packages

Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius said today that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is developing a new regulation that would require food manufacturers to display nutritional information on the front of packages.  “Busy shoppers will be able to go into grocery stores and have some easy to understand information on the front of packages giving them quick data on what is a healthier choice,” said Sebelius at the U.S. Capitol. “The Food and Drug Administration right now is working with food manufacturers to not only update the nutritional labeling on the back of packages, which right now is written in small bar codes and pretty indecipherable and hasn’t been updated in 20 years, but to move to a front-of-package labeling strategy,” said Sebelius.

ARGH Rarwrrrr!  this is so stupid.  First of all, our State Educated children are too  illiterate to read the stuff on the labels anyway. Secondly, I am reminded of the Dennis Leary rant on warning labels on cigarettes.  You can make the WHOLE Twinkie box the warning label. You can rename Twinkies FAT ASSSES and we will STILL EAT THEM.  We like them, they taste good.   Damned hypocrites, but maybe that is the problem with Ms. Sebelius’ husband: he can’t read the labels.  He looks about as hefty as me.

So now the G-D Nutritional Information is going to be on the front and the back and they are going to dumb it down.  What next?   A picture of Obama with a thumbs up so we know what to eat?  Dear leader Obama says “big thumbs down” on steak?  Isn’t this one of the twelve rules of animal farm? Jaysus, Mary, and the Shepherds what else can the idiots in Washington dream up to waste money on while at the same time ruining profits for those who produce wealth in this nation?

A Republican activist and her boyfriend were savagely beaten in New Orleans on Friday for wearing Sarah Palin pins. The beating resulted in a broken leg for Bautch’s and her boyrfiend Mr. Brown incurred a broken jaw and nose as well as a concussion. Ms. Bautsch is the chief campaign fundraiser for Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. The savage beating occurred Friday night in New Orleans after leaving a Republican party fundraising dinner. The perpetrators are allegedly a group of thugs who reportedly targeted the couple because they were wearing Sarah Palin pins.   No word as of yet if the gang has ties to the purple people beaters (SEIU or Acorn)

This story  has yet to make national headlines, unlike say, unfounded rumors of nasty words being said and mucus being ejected onto certain liberal members of congress by Tea Party protesters.

  It is not likely that Stern is going to be given a MORE high profile position. The reason he is probably moving/changing is because he has been shown to be too HIGH profile already. These people do their work in the weeds under the cover of darkness, A la Van Jones.  They cannot stand the sunlight. He has been caught out in the sun and widely reported as being the most frequent visitor to Chairman Zero's throne room. He is just going to go back underground. He may be moved to a liberal policy think thank, or may be called back to the mother ship at the Soros Foundation, or create a new evil organization.  That is what they do. Old Hippie Rabble Rousers never die they just create new organizations and rebrand themselves. That is what they have done since the sixties.

-The health care debate seems to have taken a serious toll on Claire McCaskill's approval ratings. 38% of voters in the state say they like the job she's doing while 51% disapprove. The key finding- 85% of folks who oppose the health care bill passed last week disapprove of McCaskill. That's an indication that feelings about the bill and feelings about McCaskill have become practically one and the same.

Boy, that is sad news. 

Repeat after me Claire: “Welcome to McDonald’s can I take your order?”; or maybe you prefer “Attention Wal-Mart shoppers…”

Look, Claire Baire, I have been telling you for nearly a year now that you were going  to get hosed if you kept up with the Obama puppy love googley eyes thing; and  Nasty Botoxi is not going to share any of her stash with you nor will she let you ride her broom.  Harry Reid doesn’t know which way is up, and forgets what his vote is supposed to be. You are not keeping very good company. 

Do the right thing for the first time in a long time… stop being a lapdog.  Otherwise it is just like we have been trying to tell you…you will be fired.

Drill baby Drill...

  Today, in a total change of direction, mr. obama announced increases in permits to be allowed for oil exploration. Is this a victory for common sense? Has obama really decided to tell his environazi base to go chop down a tree? Should middle America jump for joy as our fearless leader has grown some common sense? Absolutely not and here's why.

 

First, here are the areas he opened and closed up:

I do not know how much oil anyone thinks is off the coast of Delaware or South Carolina, maybe they think there is a lot.  Environmentalists and Conservationists both seem to be happy about the removal of the Bristol Bay area for exploration because it is the best fishing in the entire country, and to look at that map you would think, “so what it is a small area”. Think again, it is the size of the Texas pan- handle, or maybe as large as Virginia.  Oil exploration and oil production and Fishing and enjoyment our natural wildlife are not mutually exclusive no matter what those environutters say.  It is not as if once there is an oil well all wildlife dies, in fact in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Tx fishing around the oil platforms is where the best action is. 

I think it is important to point out.  Obama did not open up oil     D-R-I-L-L-I-N-G ;

he opened up oil     L-O-O-K-I-N-G.

Also, any benefits to exploration allowed in this proposal won't be seen until after obama is long gone.  One has to wonder if this is some sort of first step to nationalization of the Oil Industry a’ la’ Chavez.  The oil companies better read the (new) leases with the hubble space telescope sized magnifying glass.  Beware the fine print.  I have yet to hear anyone else mention this notion but with the banks, car companies, and now the healthcare system, obama says he has no desire to control such companies, but he has yet to give up even 1% control of any private entity or industry that the federal government has taken over. So when the regime starts talking about getting it's fingers in the energy business, I get concerned that those fingers will ultimately belong to the hand of the grand puppeteer.  After all, that has been the means that this regime has used to gain control of everything else it has touched, right?

So, there is a lot of oil that we a) already know is down there; and b) are not allowed to drill for; while we have oil and know where it is, the administration is proud to tell us that they are going to start thinking, and looking, and studying, and they are going to start doing all that thinking, and looking, and studying real, real soon. 

Meanwhile we are left with  wishin’, and hopin’, and prayin’, and dreamin’ and  wantin’.

Think again, it is the size of the Texas pan- handle, or maybe as large as Virginia.  Oil exploration and oil production and Fishing and enjoyment our natural wildlife are not mutually exclusive no matter what those environutters say.  It is not as if once there is an oil well all wildlife dies, in fact in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Tx fishing around the oil platforms is where the best action is. 

I think it is important to point out.  Obama did not open up oil     D-R-I-L-L-I-N-G ;

he opened up oil     L-O-O-K-I-N-G.

Also, any benefits to exploration allowed in this proposal won't be seen until after obama is long gone.  One has to wonder if this is some sort of first step to nationalization of the Oil Industry a’ la’ Chavez.  The oil companies better read the (new) leases with the hubble space telescope sized magnifying glass.  Beware the fine print.  I have yet to hear anyone else mention this notion but with the banks, car companies, and now the healthcare system, obama says he has no desire to control such companies, but he has yet to give up even 1% control of any private entity or industry that the federal government has taken over. So when the regime starts talking about getting it's fingers in the energy business, I get concerned that those fingers will ultimately belong to the hand of the grand puppeteer.  After all, that has been the means that this regime has used to gain control of everything else it has touched, right?

So, there is a lot of oil that we a) already know is down there; and b) are not allowed to drill for; while we have oil and know where it is, the administration is proud to tell us that they are going to start thinking, and looking, and studying, and they are going to start doing all that thinking, and looking, and studying real, real soon. 

Meanwhile we are left with  wishin’, and hopin’, and prayin’, and dreamin’ and  wantin’.

Project Camelot (update)

A friend pointed this out to me recently.
Here is an interesting video about Project Camelot.

Ultimately, it's liberalism morphing into libertarianism. it boils down to people deciding that central planning and organizing aka huge federal or central government will claim to "help" people but will ultimately do more harm than good which is why our founders made our federal government weak, and gave state governments far more latitude. Even my great grandmother who was the first woman Sheriff in tenessee considered herself a tennesseean American. State used to come first to people. elections were the same way, where local and state elections were much more important to people than national.and presidential elections. corporations are no different. multinational corporations have no love for the tea party or as I call it "the pro-liberty" movement. "too big to fail" means too big to this movement.
It's those corporations in conjunction with governing bodies like the UN, NATO ,EU, that are supporting obamacare. why, because they want the small businesses which still have the biggest piece of the overall pie out of the way. our big corpoations aren't capitalist, they are in the business of "manipulative consumerism." then the government call capitalists-small business owners...the boogeyman. Why is obama going after people making $250K a year? because that is the mean income for someone to have or begin their own business. What segment of our economy has the most small businesses? Doctors offices. There is no "walmart" of the medical care industry. Each doctor works for his/her self or with small group of other doctors. in the tea party movement, people ask, what can you do, what are you good at, now do that within the movement. If you can write, start a blog, if you are a good organizer, start a group, etc. every person do a little, donate what you can.
When Christianity was in it's infancy, there were no clergy in charge of regions, no pope, just small individual groups if people gathering, giving what they could to contribute, and each group picked a group of leaders from within to be organizers of that group. They engaging in willful socialsm on the local level. Peter was never a "pope" despite what you were taught in Catholic theology. Groups of Christans met, and dealt with their problems and needs on their own. The first record of a "church" picking a single leader begins at 120 a.d. and that was "Clement" who is often called the second Pope. The original idea was individualism not clergy issuing all powerful decrees. The reasoning for that, the pro-liberty movement all the way to our founding fathers separating the powers of the Federal Government was prevention of a few making decisions for everyone. That discussion about "project Camelot" is the simple notion that we don't need ever growing government bodies or multinational corporations telling us how to do things.
We can, at the local level, take care of ourselves. The closer we get to a "nanny
state," the more self serving that state will be. This is happening all world at the same time. Now violence is starting to uptick, not from the "pro-liberty" movement but from statists. That teacher who shot up that college, and the pentagon shooting yesterday were statists, as are the recent rash of Muslim terrorists such as the pantie-bomber and the Ft Hood. These people who are behind what we are ideologically opposed to have no problem with resorting to and have ties to, on many levels, to terrorism and gang violence, and if push comes to shove will not hesitate to use such means.

Earlier, I stated that the Ft Hood Bomber died the other day. I am positive I heard it on Fox news the other day but i can find no evidence to confirm this, so I am retracting the statement with an apology to those who read this. I made a mistake here and I am now correcting it. Big thanks to JDS for letting me know I missed that one as I am not out to mislead people here, and I am honestly spread so thin working on multiple state and national midterm election campaigns that I am having a hard time doing all the checking and rechecking that I prefer, but the workload will lighten up fairly soon as there is one special election in a month and I will be able to get back to a more normal posting schedule.

A message to the MSM

My advice to the MSM:

You are now trying to paint the moron who burned his house down, then flew his plane into the IRS building in Texas to the peaceful, grassroots "tea party movement." First i want to emphasize strongly that the idiot that flew a plane and committed suicide, murder and attempted murder has no ties whatsoever to the 'tea party" movement. There is no actual knowledge that this person attended or organized any sort of "tea party" event. Furthermore, the anger of the "tea party" movement is not towards the IRS, but is directed towards the idiotic spending by our formerly representative government

and the main stream media covering up what is really happening. If the "tea party" were a violent movement which I EMPHASIZE IT IS NOT, the anger would be focused as much on the media offices such as CNN, CBS, ABC and especially NBC, not innocent government workers that are just doing their jobs. You in the MSM have called us racists, bigots, teabaggers(a disgusting sexual epithet), stupid, rednecks...I can go on forever. I suggest you do your job as the media is supposed to and report on us fairly as a political movement. Remember, the polls show that we surround you and a financial boycott by "tea party" members toward your companies and companies that support you could bring you to your knees in days. WE ARE A NON-VIOLENT MOVEMENT AND IF WE WERE ANYTHING ELSE, YOU (THE DINOSAUR MEDIA) WOULD BE THE FIRST TO KNOW!!!! Thank God (the one you don't believe in, that we are peaceful because we blame you as much as anyone.
