FL Tea Party Candidate to be vetted on 850AM WFTL tomorrow

Mike Lameyer, who is was the first candidate that I jumped in to support will be vetted on the Joyce Kauffman Show on News-Talk 850 AM out of Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow, 3/16/10 at 2pm. EST. I posted an interview of Mike here about a month and a half ago. His opponents were sent e-mail invitations to answer the same questions and did not reply. For those of you from out of state, rest assured, Mike will give a colorful insight into the state of local politics in our State. Over the last week, we have gotten a wonderful picture from KOOK and Clay at Bungallo Bill's regarding local politics in the S.W. Missouri area. Lameyer is running as a "conservative" a.k.a. "tea party" Republican for State Senate district 27. I talked to Mike in depth before deciding to support him and I really appreciate his upfront approach to politics. His style is a refreshing change to those who tend to "dance around" questions such as Massa on Beck last week. 850AM. I will post links to the radio station and the Joyce Kauffman show is both syndicated and I believe is available by internet radio and I believe is available on XM satellite radio.

Ed Lynch, Red Eye tomorrow night...

Local Republican candidate and associate who I am supporting for Congress, Ed Lynch will be making an appearance on "Red Eye" tomorrow night (3:00 A.M. Fox News) For those of you unfamiliar with "Red Eye", think of it as libertarian political late night comedy. Sorta like a "libertarian" Letterman, but funny, and with a slight potty mouth. Ed Lynch is running for congress in District 19, being vacated by Robert Wexler (can we get a hooray???). Lynch is currently filling out a similar e-mail Q@A to others posted here. Already endorsed by DC works for US, and the local crew at 850A.M. led by Joyce Kaufman, (can we get another round of applause), Ed Lynch http://www.electlynch.com/ is the primary winner making him the only choice, but having looked up Mr. Lynch's records objectively, I can't find any reason to oppose him. He is campaigning as a "conservative" i.e. "tea party" Republican. The local media is running a smear campaign on Lynch right now. Given the ideological leanings of our local media, I'd be far more skeptical of him if our media supported him. Lynch also played a role in exposing Wexler's corruption. That really makes winning this this seat important to us here as it would really cement a victory for us bloggers and the conservative media. Lynch will also be speaking at C-Pac on the illegal immigration issue. If Wexlers' seat gets filled by a liberal dem, then all our work will be for nothing. Having to spoken to Lynch now several times I believe he will cause Nancy Pelosi's Botox dialysis machine to need a double dose. I hope you readers will get behind Lynch and give him any support you can both in a financially and on the blogosphere. Electing folks like Lynch into seats being vacated by "fire breathing liberals" is of the utmost importance if we want to really neuter mr. obama a.k.a. Chairman Zero. So lets get all the help we can here as you have seen what replacing one liberal with one moderate can do in the Senate, but soon we will be able to elect a whole army of pro-liberty candidates to the house and senate. Among the first of which will April 13th which will be the special election to replace Wexler. If there is anything any of you can do to help us win this seat and continue the momentum with the wins in VA, NJ, and NJ and MA, please give us Floridians, and Ed Lynch your support.

Crist claims to be a Reagan conservative!!!!!

This was a news max interview posted monday. I think most of you know where I stand on Crist. If you don't know, then my responses in green and underlined in this interview should help...

Crist: I’m a True Blue Reagan Conservative

Florida Republican Gov. and U.S. Senate candidate Charlie Crist defended himself against charges he is not a strong conservative, vowing that if he were in the Senate now, he would vote against President Obama’s budget and tax increases and vigorously oppose the Democrats’ healthcare reform plan as well.
Me thinks he doth protesteth too much

The popular governor announced on May 12, 2009, that he was not seeking re-election and instead would run for the Senate seat vacated by Republican Mel Martinez.
Popular????

As a Senate candidate, Crist is facing a stiff challenge from former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio in the Republican primary. Rubio has been rising in recent polls, surprising political pundits in the Sunshine State.

Crist can handle a good stiff drink, so why not a challenge?

“Rubio claims he is the true conservative in the race, and some Republicans say you’re not conservative enough,” Newsmax.TV’s Ashley Martella said, and asked: “How do you respond?”
So we have a choice between Rubio, a moderate, or Crist, a liberal...hard choice there.

“I think it’s kind of funny, to be honest with you,” Crist answered.
The only thing funny is the notion that Crist is not a leftist!

“I’m an anti-tax, pro-life, pro-gun Republican, and I think it’s very clear that during my entire career I’ve never voted for a new tax. I’ve always thought it was important to put people first, to make sure they have the opportunity to make their own decisions about their lives without the government intruding. If that’s not conservative, I don’t know what is . . .
You never voted for a new tax...gee whiz....you are the governor, and atty gen. meaning you don't vote, but you sign laws, like the law that raised our home insurance be $3000 this year. Do you think we are that stupid????

“I’m proud of what we’ve done in Florida. When I got elected governor, out of the 50 states we were ranked 31st in education. We went from 31st to 14th to top 10 and this year top eight in education.”
That is because other states have fallen that quickly.

Crist has a strong record in Tallahassee of keeping state spending in check and has stymied attempts to raise taxes to deal with the state’s budget deficit. He has earned high marks from conservative groups like the NRA for his advocacy of gun rights.
His budget only doubles the state defecit, pushes for the state to spend 11 billion extra on the LEV train and puts into law every unfunded mandate pushed by the Obama stimulus plan.

In his exclusive sit-down with Newsmax.TV conducted last Friday, Crist focused his attacks on Democrats in Washington.
It's easy to attack the bull in the China shop, or point out that the emperor has no clothes, eh...

Crist declared that Ronald Reagan would be “turning over in his grave” over profligate spending in Washington — and said he would favor military action to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Mr Crist, I remember Ronald Reagan, and I can tell you in all honesty that you are NO Ronald Reagan!!!!!

Crist served as a state senator, education commissioner and attorney general in Florida before winning the election for governor in 2006, and was mentioned as a possible vice presidential candidate on John McCain’s 2008 ticket. He first gained fame in state politics by calling for harsh prison sentences for felons, sponsoring a bill requiring inmates to serve 85 percent of their sentences before being eligible for parole. He also sponsored legislation to re-establish chain gangs, which earned him the nickname “Chain Gang Charlie.”
McCain skipped you as VP because you like doing the same thing the boys do in prison.

Newsmax.TV’s Martella observed that President Obama’s $3.8 trillion budget doubles the federal deficit in five years and triples it in 10, while calling for $1 trillion in tax increases. He asked: “If you were in the Senate, would you vote in favor of that budget?”
Just like Crist's budget in Florida....

“Absolutely not,” Crist said. “It’s unbelievable. They just spend and spend and spend and tax and tax and tax. That’s exactly the opposite of what we’re doing in Florida. We have reduced taxes. We’ve cut our property taxes. We don’t have a state income tax. I’m proposing another $100 million in tax cuts in this legislative session coming up.
...and the 11 billion in train spending is the single biggest pork project in FL history, adding that to the raised deficit ceiling and any tax cuts would be comparable to a credit card.

“I believe you need to tax less so that the people can spend their money more wisely than government will on any given day. What’s happening in Washington is exactly the opposite approach.
I believe you need to reign in state government spending, and quit making out with obama!!!!!
“

I think Ronald Reagan would be turning over in his grave seeing what’s going on in D.C., because we all know, or at least I feel, that if you reduce taxes and give more of the hard-earned money back to the taxpayers so that they can spend it, you spur the economy forward. You revitalize entrepreneurship and the kinds of things a free market would bring about. So no, I would not vote for that budget.”
sure, and you are such a staunch opponent to obama that we should believe everything you say?

However, Crist defended his support of President Obama’s economic stimulus bill, saying it was needed to prevent the state from falling into an “economic abyss” and saved the jobs of 87,000 police, firefighters and other public employees, plus 20,000 teachers.
See?!?!?!

Crist’s critics contend he was too close to Obama in his support of the bill, although every Republican governor joined with Crist in either supporting the stimulus bill or accepting the emergency funds it provided.
If a moron drives his car off the bridge, do you have to follow him?? Every red state that accepted the strings attached to that bill will be punished in a year or so.

Martella asked if Crist as a Senator would support the healthcare overhaul bill that has been under consideration in Congress.
Good for her.....

“Absolutely not,” he said. “And the reason is three. Number one, it would raise the rates people would have to pay for health insurance. Number two, it would raise taxes at a time when we don’t need to be raising taxes at all. And number three, it would have the incredible effect of taking about half a trillion dollars out of Medicare.”
and Crist can count to three, what a surprise, i bet he can't make it to four, and I think he is full of it on any opposition to obama.

Newsmax.TV’s Kathleen Walter noted that Crist recently released his proposed budget for Florida, calling for a 4 percent increase in spending, and asked for his take on the current economic situation.
Oh boy, here's that four....

“The economy continues to be challenged,” Crist responded.
just like Crist when it came to four. He needs to keep watching sesame street and hope the lessons learned will help him in the private sector after he loses to Rubio in the primary.

“I think we’re all aware that unemployment is not where we want it to be, but there is some good news out there. For the first time since I’ve been governor of Florida, we finally have more revenue coming into the state treasury instead of less, and that’s really good news for the people.
Stimulus money

“Most of Florida’s revenue is generated from sales tax. That means people are buying. Confidence is gaining. In addition, home sales are up in the Sunshine State — about 31 percent more than this time last year.”
Crist also came out swinging against Obama’s policies dealing with national security
.
WE are not buying what you're selling which is why Rubio is ahead of you by 15 points in the polls.

The administration has decided try accused 9/11 terrorists in U.S. civilian court — a move Crist opposes.
Just like he opposed the stimulus money...

“As a former attorney general I can tell you in my opinion they’re pursuing exactly the wrong course,” he said.
So is Crist....

“To treat these terrorists as a common criminal and try them in our courts instead of a military tribunal seems to me exactly the wrong direction to go in.
Seems to me like you will say whatever you want to get elected but that photo of the embrace with Obama doesn't lie

“These people are trying to kill tons of our fellow Americans. We need to get serious in how we deal with these people . . .
We need to deal with you just as quickly.

“I think the Obama administration is on the wrong track. We need to treat these people the way they should be treated, in military tribunals.”
Floridians think you are on the wrong track

He added that Guantanamo Bay is the “appropriate place” to conduct the trials.
I'm adding that I think Crist needs to go. Guantanamo Bay is as appropriate place as any for him.

Walter asked if Crist would support military action by the U.S. or Israel to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Given that 30% of the state's population is Jewish. I can't imagine how he'd answer that one.

“Yes I would. I think it’s very important that we understand the incredible relationship that America enjoys with the state of Israel,” Crist responded.
I think it's important that the more naive folks realize how incredible it is that you would say anything to get elected!

“It’s very important to be loyal to our allies, to protect them in any way we can. Whether it’s Iran or other rogue nations, we have a responsibility and duty to do so.
Just like you are loyal to your ally Obama?

“Ronald Reagan understood national security. We needed to have peace through strength, and we needed to be strong in our support of our allies. And one of our best allies on the planet is Israel.”
If he says "Reagan" one more time, my head will explode!!!!!

As for Obama’s budget, that has some bad news for Florida – it calls for the elimination of the NASA moon program based at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center. Crist said that was “very discouraging news.
Yeah Crist, you really put up a fuss, especially when the funds to pay for the LEV train match almost to the dollar the money amount taken from NASA!

“It’s the wrong thing to do and it’s the wrong time to do it. Florida has always been the place that reaches for the stars. We need to continue to invest in the Space Coast. It’s terribly important for the people who live there.”

It's terribly important for the people who live here to understand that you are the wrong man to be our senator, and this is the wrong time for you to run. We already have Bill Nelson. Why do we need another liberal senator?

Claire (Bear) McCaskill (Worst MO Senator Ever) wants my opinion on Spending Limits.

claire_mccaskill-736450 My. Gawd. Woman.  But you are a glutton for punishment aren’t you?  Just to bring the folks up to speed here is an email from Claire-Bear  Read it and be amazed at the temerity of the woman.

Dear Friend,
It's going to take full, comprehensive budget reform to break the cycle of debt and put us back on track. I am committed to making that reform a reality. (!)
But the first piece of the puzzle is holding down government spending where we can. (!!)That's why Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama) and I are offering an amendment that would cap increases in discretionary spending through 2014 and encourage the President to renew the caps when they expire.
Read about the amendment, and let me know what you think.
Discretionary spending only makes up about a third of the federal budget, so this amendment alone won’t solve our huge fiscal problems.
Much more will need to be done. I introduced legislation that would reinstitute a Pay-As-You-Go law (!!!)that would force across-the-board spending cuts if Congress passed any legislation that increased spending or cut taxes without offsetting the cost. I also support efforts to create a Fiscal Task Force, which would propose legislation to close the long term budget gap and submit it to Congress for a vote.
The reason this is so important is our back is against a wall – unless the debt limit is raised our country will default on our debt, our nation’s credit will be ruined, inviting a new global economic crisis. (!!!!)
People who say we should let our nation default are being irresponsible, but we can’t keep kicking the can down the road – that's why I’m introducing this amendment.
Please share your thoughts here after reading about the spending caps:
http://tinyurl.com/spendingcaps
All the best,
Claire

Now. I. Swear.  if this does not take all the nerve in the world.  I bet this woman could actually say this stuff with a straight face.  First lets run down some facts.  Depending on who you listen to these proposed cuts would be between 12% and 15% of the budget. So as much as 15 cents on the dollar.  Of that, it does not, DOES. NOT. include Medicare, Medicaid, OASDI, or other entitlement programs.  Plus there is around 500 billion in “stimulus” money that can be spent on whatever they want but has not been spent on anything yet, that these proposed cuts would not take into account.  Lastly, and this is key, even in the extreme event that they passed this, they would not follow it.  These people are categorically incapable of fiscal restraint.  One last thing, the final point.  The most important part of this whole piece.  A spending freeze will freeze the spending at the HIGHER BLAOTED OVER INFLATED RATE that we have now.  That means NO REDUCTION FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS.

Now item for Item: Item (!) Claire, when did this become a priority?  Was this after Missourians chewed you out for months over ZeroCare, or was it after Scott Brown won in Massachusetts?  Do you see the writing on the wall?  Sister, you better.

Item (!!) Really Claire, really?  The first piece of the puzzle is holding down spending where we can?  Really?  What caused this fast switch?  I thought that from your earlier missives that spending billions and bailing out banks and nationalizing healthcare and ensuring free homes to everyone, a chicken in every pot and forty acres and a mule was our ticket to prosperity…  Now you are saying it is fiscal responsibility.  Wow.  Hmmm.  I think the ticket to Missouri's prosperity is first to get rid of you and then our new Governor.

Item (!!!) PayGo… what a blast from the past.  I think I heard Botoxi say that about a year ago.  Democrats (Republicans too) always talk of this as if it means something.  It doesn’t and the ZeroCare fiasco proves it.  You will cook the books however is necessary to make it appear that things are deficit neutral or even save us money and they never do.

A task Force, wow.  Another blue ribbon panel of do-nothings that will submit some meaningless report that no one will follow and we will never hear from again.

Claire, you want my opinion, this is all so much hogwash, political spin, and window dressing, because you know that your days are numbered.  We are on to you Claire.

You want to impress me? Let’s start talking about budget reductions, back to at least 2005 levels (not counting defense spending), let’s talk repeal of the stimulus, pay back the Chinese, stop the healthcare nonsense, quit talking about commuter trains and anything else your Obamessiah talks about.

P.s., we are also on to the fact that the so called upcoming “jobs bill” is Stimulus 2…and that stimulus 1 is a failure as far as jobs are concerned.

UPDATE:  Item (!!!!) Global. Economic. Crisis.  Seriously weak.  Get a new mantra.  You worthless politicians should just be on television like the guy selling the slap chop.  “hurry now, while we still survive, we created the problem, but now we want to fix it, hurry hurry hurry, or all the CHILDRENS WLL DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”   So to borrow your hero’s phrase, Let Me Be Clear®, the orgy of spending that you partook in didn’t contribute to the Global Economic Crisis® but if we don’t do this new WhizBang thing you have cooked up, we will experience armageddon.  puhlease.
