MY Story of stuff...

Speaking of the "story of stuff," here's some stuff to ponder. Of all the stories being passed along on the planet Earth, how many are true? How many are agenda driven? The book "the story of stuff" was intended to replace books like the Bible, The Koran and writings such as the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution. Could someone please tell me how people who fart every time they speak could pull of replacing some of the most influential writings in Human history? Had I written"the Story of Stuff" I would not have bit off more than I could chew, or try to convince the world that breathing will destroy the Planet. My "Story of stuff" would probably just give my perspective on stuff. For instance.. the "green" movement is almost the pinnacle of human hipocrisy. It the only think I find more hipocritical than "green" is the notion that the USA is still the "land of the free." It is now the land of the free handouts for those that do nothing. We also have a fundamentally transformed "justice" system. the only rule is it's "just us" that should apologize to and pay for everything any non-American citizen thinks they deserve. It is ironic that little Al Gore's rise in politics was financed through illegal strip mining permits big daddy Gore gave to his pals in the pre 1970s Tennessee political "good ol' boys" mafia. Ask Fred Thompson who as a young prosecutor brought that group down. There was not enough evidence to prosecute little Al. Ironically, as the Goracle has made billions making crap movies, writing idiotic books, propagandizing the kids in the "green Hitler youth movement" and jetsets in his Gulfstream G3 (i think) around the world trying to tell people to sacrifice their livelihoods to save the planet, the ecosystem in parts of Tennessee is just now recovering from the Goracle family's exploitation. Now the good folks in Arizona have decided that they want their State and our Nation back and most Americans agree. The idea of restoring law and order and having a society free of kidnapping and human or drug trafficking is lunacy. For that we are "teabagging" racist nazis. Speaking of bags, I hope WE THE PEOPLE keep making those incumbent lifetime politicians who made this mess pack their bags (tea or otherwise) and join the masses in the unemployment lines. Then maybe they might have a different attitude about illegals taking jobs, sucking the economy dry and making things like driving far more dangerous and standing in line at the store take far longer. Now Calderone, the mexican drug cartel leader stands before a combined IQ of .0083 on Crapitol Hill and says we have no right to close our border...while anyone crossing into the failed state formerly known as Mexico is either jailed or shot. Of course, our immigration policy is a big fat joke...just like the guy we are told is the president is an illegal alien and should be deported, and his big fat wookie wife is not exactly native either (to Earth that is). Think about it; Chewbacca Obama looks like something that should be kept at Area 51 in Roswell NM instead of the White House, right? It's no wonder Mr. Karzai the leader of Afganistan is saying he's going to join the Taliban, after all BHO is a card carryng member himself and Karzai wants to stay on "our" good side. The biggest shame of it all is the White House chefs spend more time cooking crack cocaine than cooking food. So you go right on thinking we are the "land of the free" and I will sell you a mexican glacier for a dollar (or 3 billion pesos). The real question here is "am I joking or am I serious?"

Congressman Hank Johnson was voicing concerns over defense budgetary spending that would necessarily accompany the influx of an addition 8,000 American troops on the island of Guam. After a lengthy display that he knows the dimensions of the American territory of Guam (Admiral Willard, commander of the U. S. Navy's Pacific Fleet, acknowledged that it was "a small island"), told the gathered members of Congress and military officials as he made a tipping motion with his hand, "My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize."

To his credit, Admiral Willard chose not to educate and embarrass the congressman. Instead, Willard dryly asserted, "We don't anticipate that." But you can see in the video that the Admiral is fighting back a smile, but he soldiers (sailors?) on, explaining to the congressman that the current population of Guam (estimated at 175,000) would only attain 200,000 with the increase in American troops. accompany the influx of an addition 8,000 American troops on the island of Guam. .

However this does raise questions about Guam and it's infrastructure. Think back to 1912. They said the Titanic was also said to be unsinkable and only had adequate lifeboats for 1/10th of the indigenous population and crew. Hank Johnson, D, GA seeking to divert defense spending to special subisidies to indoor crop farming with alternative light sources to save the environment raised these questions along with environmental questions about dihydrogen monoxide restrictions, and safety improvements such as water wings, and moisture columns to better support Guam and prevent the swelling population and massive infrastructure from tipping the island over and drowning the population. If anyone has funding to spare for congressional reelection campaign donations we ask you to seriously consider Hank Johnson D, GA, a true humanitarian. Hope you enjoyed the first day of April! :0)

The polarization of American politics

Today during a test drive to try out engine mods to my car, I was listening to GB on the radio. He had a very good point and almost danced around what I really wanted him to say. His point was, that there is no room in the Democrat party for "moderates" anymore as liberals have so much power within the Dem power structure that the libs can effectively push moderates into voting with liberals via threats over campaign funding, among many other things that I would prefer not to list.

On the other side, Republicans or Conservatives are backed so far into a corner that they are much like a cornered wild animal. (For those of you who don't know, don't corner wild animals!)

The Republicans are becoming increasingly "reactionary." They are being forced to move beyond our typical "center right" view of Republicans and and more towards the European style right wing parties a.k.a extremist. The problem is, in 2011, there will be a batch of very angry Republicans on a warpath to take revenge on the Democrats for their actions since 2006 and before. Much of this began when Bush won the electoral vote in 2000, and Dems swore revenge. This is a scenario where nobody wins. The Repubs under Bush, "bent' the rules in major ways, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for not. The Dems than came into power after Bush tossed the rule book out and are running the country far closer to a dictatorship than a representative Republic.

Question: When Republicans get in in 2010, will they be any different? They already showed that rules can be "bent" if it reaches the desired outcome. Now they will be in power without any rules at all. I find that to be slightly unnerving.

*Note: I am in no way comparing the current Republican party to the Nazi party of Adolph Hitler, I am simply making the point that Bolshevism, and National Socialism (Fascism under Hitler) were born out of situations where the people were faced with making exclusive choices between extremist points of view and if we continue on this path, we will be faced with similar choices sooner rather than later.

Next Tuesday there is a special election to fill the late Ted Kennedy senate seat. The two canidates are Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Scott Brown. The democrats thought this would be a no-brainer-the people would elect Martha Coakley who would go to Washington and vote in favor of the health care bill. However in the past few weeks all that has changed. I will say it shifted towards Christmas. Martha decided to take a vacation from campaigning. She pulled ads from TV stations and went out of sight. During this time Scott Brown ran TV ads and put his image out there. The polls have reflected this. Coakley's own internal memo shows the poll is tighting. A once 9 point lead shrunk to only 2 points.There was a poll I read about that showed Brown leading by a point. At this point in time, the race is to close to call. Coakley knows this and went in attack mode. There are atleast 3 negative ads running in MA against Brown, linking him to Bush and Limbaugh and to the infamous "Tea Party" Movement. Brown however remains focused and as not gone negative. This past Monday there was a debate in MA, I did not watch it but I read about how Brown was "on fire".

This election can effect health care. If Brown wins, Obamacare will not pass, the dems will not have a filbuster proof majority. If Coakley wins then health care will pass. But does what happen in MA really going to matter? The Boston herald reported that if Brown wins, the dems will try to swear him into office once Obamacare passes. But how? Don't the democrats need a key vote from MA? If they don't then it shouldn't really matter what happens in MA. If Coakley wins, the dems will swear her in immediatley, making a liar out of Galvin who says they have to wait ten days to certify the election. Doesn't that go both ways? Wait ten days for both. The wait is to count Absentee and miltary votes. Unless MA dems have one set of rules for Coakley and another for Brown. Will the people of MA and the US put up with that? Democrats probably thought they would have a easy election with Coakley just coasting her way in the senate seat, they were wrong.

The writer of this post was Chris Golas (My Random Blog) who lives in Massachusetts. It is good to hear about the election from an insiders point of view. There is nothing better than having a local perspective when it comes to politics. This really exposes the complete arrogance of the Democrats (not that Republicans are much different in areas where they are traditionally strong.) This also shows what I believe to be intent to pocket campaign funds that would not be spent unnecessarily when the Democrats will automatically inherit the seat. After all, it is Ted Kennedy's seat, and to even suggest that it go to a Republican is as absurd as it is impossible, right?

The momentum change at Christmas time is should be a warning to the DC regime that their inept response to the "undi-bomber" confused and angered the American people, even those who had been obama supporters. Now the total hypocrisy of the regime's actions is being made clear with their immediate and decisive response to the disaster in Haiti. Many Americans, wile supporting the action in Haiti, are wondering whether the same action would take place if that disaster had happened here. Mr. obama clearly feels that it is more important to make the rest of the world happy than it is to do the will of or keep promises to the American People and anger is building. I say with confidence that if mr. obama shows up in MA to campaign for Coakley, Brown will win the election by a large margin.

Given that NJ just elected a Republican Gov, it should be obvious that ANY incumbent better be prepared to run a perfect campaign in both the primaries and the regular elections. Brown is running a perfect campaign while Coakley looks unprepared both in actions and in debate preparation. That is why Brown took Coakley apart in their televised debate.

Now, Coakley has turned to DC lobbyists,and special interest groups such as SEIU. I believe this will backfire on Coakley as it calls attention to the fact that Coakley will be just another Obama croney. Brown has done a great job of exposing Coakley's errors and that last DC fundraiser that was full of lobbyists was a big mistake. Now a fundraising campaign started by Dick Morris, along with Internet fundraising by the Chamber of Commerce have not only levelled the playing field, but have shifted fundraising momentum towards Brown.

Given how strong Unions are in Massachusetts, is it possible that many are afraid to admit to pollsters that they either won't vote, or support Brown fearing that the pollsters may be working for union bosses? I know union thugs resort to intimidation to scare members into voting for "their" candidates. Given this, and that I believe Brown supporters are more motivated, I believe Brown may even have more support that polls suggest.

I also question whether Massachusetts voters who already pay for a State run Public Option want to pay a tax for a national health care plan when they won't receive anything they don't have now in return?

Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) has pushed for a public option within the healthcare debate. Now meet her husband, Robert Creamer.

Rep. Schakowsky’s husband, Robert Creamer, used to be the leader of Citizen Action/Illinois. He also founded its predecessor, Illinois Public Action, in which Ms. Schakowsky served as Program Director. He runs a political consulting firm, the Strategic Consulting Group, which lists ACORN and the SEIU among its clients and which made $541,000 working for disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.

Creamer resigned from Citizen Action/Illinois after the FBI began investigating him for bank fraud and tax evasion at Illinois Public Action. He was convicted in 2006 and sentenced to five months in federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, plus eleven months of house arrest.

Now while Creamer was in prison, he wrote a book titled Listen to Your Mother: Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win (Seven Locks Press, 2007). In it he outlines how to get socialized medicine rammed down the throats of the American people.

The ten points outlined by Creamer:

“We must create a national consensus that health care is a right, not a commodity; and that government must guarantee that right.”
“We must create a national consensus that the health care system is in crisis.”
“Our messaging program over the next two years should focus heavily on reducing the credibility of the health insurance industry and focusing on the failure of private health insurance.”
“We need to systematically forge relationships with large sectors of the business/employer community.”
“We need to convince political leaders that they owe their elections, at least in part, to the groundswell of support of [sic] universal health care, and that they face political peril if they fail to deliver on universal health care in 2009.”
“We need not agree in advance on the components of a plan, but we must foster a process that can ultimately yield consensus.”
“Over the next two years, we must design and organize a massive national field program.”
“We must focus especially on the mobilization of the labor movement and the faith community.”
“We must systematically leverage the connections and resources of a massive array of institutions and organizations of all types.”
“To be successful, we must put in place commitments for hundreds of millions of dollars to be used to finance paid communications and mobilization once the battle is joined.”
That was easy, wasn't it? Think about all the games played by the Dems in this battle of socialist proportions. They've followed this almost step-by-step.

Protests and terrorism...Lets say...

Lets (totally hypothetically) say you have a pResident who in a Nixonesque fashion has gone off the deep end. Lets say that the pResidents handlers were growing dissatisfied with the pResidents job performance, the election outcome from last tuesday and and the pResidents sinking approval ratings. Lets say that the pResidents handlers see the growing movement of angry American citizens in this country and are not at all pleased with the results of this movement. Lets say that the pResidents handlers and those surrounding him saw a protest of 20-40,000 people gathering around Capitol hill to protest the 2nd most important part of the puppeteers' agenda and wanted to get it off the news channels that have recently started to turn on the President. What lengths would these go to in order keep the massive protests off Fox and the other Cable news channels. I know that what I am implying here (once you connect the dots) is insane, treasonous, and if it turns out to be true and it gets out could start world war 3 but when I saw this going on yesterday, my first question was why did this have to happen right when the protests were going to bre televised? Then I looked at the timeline. Conspicously, the massacre happened just at the right time so that the news would be covering it during the length of the DC protest. Then I looked at the name of the shooter and the name ofthe President. hmm. Nah couldn't be, I mean it's just a name, right? No, this pResident has never resorted to dirty tactics and those around him are clean as a whistle. For me to think that there my be some sort of connection is absolutely nuts right? Not like our president has had any association with nuts (Aren't Acorns nuts)? Now I leave this to you to think this through. Is my tinfoil hat on so tight it has cut off circulation to half my brain or does something not add up with the story about what happened in Texas yesterday? Maybe it's the lack of remorse that the pResident laid out in his speech or the off timing of the event. WAs the event timing odd you ask? Well thinks think this through like Andrew33 would. The shooting took place at !:30 in Texas. That;s 2:30 in DC, while the protest was scheduled to begin at 3:00; Now if you wanted something to preempt the media what time would you have it take place? If were me, I'd would allow about half an hour to let things play out and the media get involved sos it would be 2:30 eastern, !:30 central. But this is just random coincidence

No cash for my Clunker!!!!

Growing up in the 80s, there were few cars that looked good both inside and outside, appeared to offer good performance, did so and were reliable. Among those were the 80's F-Body Camaros and Firebirds, Corvettes, Buick Grand Nationals, and probably the best "Bang for the Buck", the "Fox Body Mustang 5.0. Those were the "Domestic" side of "80's sports cars. On the Japanese side, there was the Mazda RX7s, The Mitsubushi Starion/Eclipses,The Toyota Supras. The Nissan 280-300Zs and the Honda Preludes. I have had a few of each, Including a 92 Trans-Am(last year of the "Knight Rider" style) an '82 280ZX and a'90 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I have also had 2 Honda Civic CRXs in there too, but those are smaller I don't consider them in the same class of car. Having had both, I have become partial to the Japanese styling. I believe that as time goes by those low slung sports cars will be remembered as an era just as the SUV era that came after them, this was the time when I was growing up and I will always look at those cars fondly. I came to like the smoothness and styling of the japanese imports better. The American cars had more grunt, and far more add on performance potential, but the Imports had a stylistic and technological edge when it came to thee smoothness and driving experience that totally out classed the domestics at the time. I guess the only way I can describe it is when you drove one, you came to appreciate how everything worked together from the precise gear shifting, the light but but very effective braking and clutch and the effortless sound of the high RPM mulitvalve engines and the perfectly weighted power steering that was light but gave excellent road feel. Those cars were built for handling in Japan which is extremely mountainous. Most were not as fast as their American counterparts but were far more fun to drive on a twisty road or in the rain. They are almost reminiscent of a well made swiss timepiece with every part working in harmony. A perfect example of that is my current Honda Prelude. It is a 1991 model. It still runs great, and has been left original, unmolested by the "boy racers" and their desire to take the biggest engine and stuff it into the smallest car possible to go racing. That is why I did not touch that "cash for clunkers deal," I'm very happy with my "clunker" although the only clunk sound it makes is when you close the hood. It even has that old japanese dinging mechanical bell for a warning when the lights are left on. Now it seems quite "retro". There is a lesson to be learned in all this, that maybe our car companies should tale a long look at the quality that went into those late ''80s sports cars and compare THE QUALITY of those cars to what are being made now. Much like our government, the car companies are trading quality and focused products for frills and gizmos. My Prelude is so focused on being a sports car, that it did not come with a cup holder. If you wanted a cup holder you could get one on a 2 door Accord Coupe or a Civic Coupe only. It has non power seats, and door locks too to save weight. The sunroof/moonroof still work and do not leak a drop after 20 years. Camaro and a few Mustang owners with T-Tops, take note.

My point here is that now our government is trying to be all things to all people and is doing a bunch of things poorly. They could stand to learn a lesson from My '91 Prelude, and my friend's 1990 300ZX because Honda and Nissan did the one thing (being a dedicated sports car) right and did that one thing well.

When you stand outside the car and look in that is what you see. It came exactly like that.
