A message from Karin (organizer of the 912/RNC meeting)

As many of you know, a local 912er, Karin Hoffman who co-organized the local DC works for US movement here locally and used her magic to set up a meeting between 912 leaders and RNC leaders has a message for you. I am proud to call her a colleague and someone who has inspired me to expand my voice from just here on the internet into local politics itself. I hope that Karin will inspire you to do the same. As I have found out, you can have a profound impact on local politics, which unlike economics, has a "trickle up effect." So Here's Karin:

Dear Patriots, (7 items, Grassroots Meeting with Steele, CPAC, Healthcare Summit, National Congressional Race, Ed Lynch, DC Works For Us Meetings, Tea Party, and Ed Lynch Rally)

1) Meeting with RNC and CPAC Report (come join us on Thursday, Feb. 25th at Wings Plus in Coral Springs for firsthand report on the events of this past week)

What an amazing week in Washington DC! Following our meeting with Chairman Steele of the Republican National Committee, many of us from the meeting were able to connect up again at CPAC, Conservative Political Action Conference.

The consensus of those who attended the meeting with Steele were very encouraged as they each felt that the leaders were genuinely heard by the Chairman.

An incredible moment for me was driving to the very meeting with Chairman Steele. On the way there, the Capitol building itself comes into view. It was then I could see with clarity that we all were truly making DC Work For Us.

At CPAC, we had a phenomenal opportunity to connect with many other solid grassroots organizations to forge together alliances. By doing so, our efforts and energies become the very tool that will penetrate what has, up to this point, seemed impenetrable.

Florida's great candidates, Rubio, Lynch, and West, spoke at CPAC. Lynch and Lowry spoke at XPAC, also.

2) Health Care Summit at the Blair House

This is one proposal we gave the RNC this past Tuesday. We want the Republicans to show up to the Summit. See with their own eyes the proposal of the Democrats. With all the media that is surrounding this event, take advantage of it and walk out in protest to the
un-Constitutional legislation that is proposed. Hard to imagine that it is otherwise.

Call to Action: Let the RNC know that you want the Republicans to go and to be bold for us. Stand up against the atrocious legislation.

More Call to Action: If you are local to Washington DC, please make every attempt to join the forces that will be there to protest the bill and support those who make a stand against it. Bring the shredder.

3) We need your help in turning over a seat in District 19, the next Scott Brown election. Edward Lynch is the candidate that is running against the Obama machine in District 19 of Florida. Please contact www.electlynch.com to help.

4) New DC Works For Us meetings throughout the nation

Many have asked how to start a DC Works For Us Meeting in their area. If that is what you are considering, please let us know and we can help equip you on how to have an effective force in your area.

5) Join your local Executive Committee Meetings of the Republican Party or the Democrat Party. Now is not the time for a Third Party. Get off the sidelines and make a difference from within the existing structure. Elections are only 8 month away. To develop a third party would ensure victory for this administration and its agenda.
