Mike Lameyer endorsement pt.1

In this series of brief posts, I will make the case to you in a more in depth way as to why I believe we should support Mike Lameyer and why,If you live close to me, you should vote for him for State Senate. I will be using parts of his website which I suggest you visit as you will get wonderful audio history lesson which is well worth listening to. But here we will focus on the economy. Here is a good example of where Mike Lameyer stands on jobs:

Jobs and The Economy

Florida does not need the Federal Government to create jobs. Florida politicians missed a chance to capture this opportunity. Welcome to Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, LLC (HMMA), Hyundai's first assembly and manufacturing plant in the United States. This $1.4 billion automotive plant is one of the most advanced assembly plants in North America. HMMA currently provides employment for more than 2,700 people. Florida politicians missed a chance to capture this opportunity. Toyota Technical Center (TTC), a division of TEMA, is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Recent expansion in York Township has increased investment by $187 million and will add 400 new jobs by 2010. Toyota's total direct investment in the U.S. has now grown to more than $17 billion, and our annual spending on parts, goods and services from hundreds of U.S. suppliers totals more than $29 billion.** Natural Recourse development would provide at least 350,000 new jobs with an average annual salary of $64,000 dollars. I have experience in capturing jobs and actual job growth. There is no excuse for Florida Politicians to have missed these job creation opportunities, which would have resulted in approximately four billion dollars in new employment income for Floridians.
