Our 9/12 photos. The Proof !!!!

Here is my photo record of our experiences at the 912 march on Washington. Before I post the pics, There are just a few things I'd like to say first. While I have a couple of hundred pics, I cant post them all. It was a very overcast day which made the original photos very dark. Much darker than the day actually was. To account for this I shaved 10% out of the "blacks" and added 0.23% to the exposure. Other than that, the pictures are completely untouched. I am telling you this for honesty's sake. For me, altering pics in any way and then posting them without saying so would make us as bad as CNN or MSNBC. These changes simply made the numbers of people and their signage easier to see. I would have loved to have been sharing this during the event but shortage of time with the I Phone and not having the proper applications to adjust for darkness and focus simply made that impossible. The laptop that was brought to use on this trip also crashed, and there was something about DC that made GPS seem "glitchy." I believe this may be some sort of security protection which would be totally understandable. So check out my photos and tell me what you think. These photos are of the "pre march gathering" which had to be cut short to make room for more arriving people.....

This was quite a crowd. MSNBC estimated 7.5 people, CNN estimated 150 people, Fox guessed at nearly 1000 or so.

Nancy Pelosi thinly disguised as a person was actually in attendance trying to figure out how strong the opposition really is.

The folks in bright yellow were event volunteers and were very helpful in keeping things going smoothly.

As we arrived at the gathering, people were pouring in from all directions while keeping the streets clear for emergency vehicles.

Right after our arrival, we were surrounded from all sides by fellow protesters. By now, MSNBC estimated there were actually 20.2 people in attendance.

The following are a series of panoramic shots taken from the steps of the statue in the middle of Freedom Plaza. In between pics, I turned about 20 degrees to the right to bring a panoramic view of what was happening around us.

Here are just a few photos of the pre-march gathering. Keep in mind that we had to march on to the Capital 45 minutes early to make room for other arrivals. There were also rumors that 100 busses were stranded outside DC because there was literally no way for them to enter. But to quote Fox News, we report, you decide. Am I THAT good with photoshop? Or, are there far more people than the MSM cares to admit?

I believe that if our founding fathers saw what was going on today, thy would both desire to rebel against our current government and would be most proud of the the 9/12 taxpayer revolts and the Tea Parties nationwide.
