Party split in VA!

Va gov Tim Kaine(D) is not running for re-election. Kaine is about as moderate and pro-military as Democrats can be. Kaine has endorsed the Republican candidate for Kaine's office. Does this indicate a fracture in the Democrat party between the communist wing and the more moderate wing of the party? Are the "blue dogs" abandoning Obama, Pelosi and Reid? Many Dems won between 2002 and 2008 in states and districts that are far more traditional and dare I say conservative than Obama and Pelosi. These Democrats ran on an agenda of "fiscal responsibility" which Republicans abandoned but Democrats nuked. Now these Democrats know that there is no way they can claim "fiscal responsibility" and they are going to be facing a hostile voting base in their conservative states and districts. Tim Kaine is simply the first Democrat to admit this openly.
