MSNBC's future in doubt?

I may be the only person who has noticed this. After watching CNNHD and FoxNewsHD, MSNBC looks like it has oil smeared on the camera lenses on higher resolution televisions. Apparently they either have yet to upgrade to upgrade their video to hi-def or they are not going to upgrade to hi-def. That makes me ask what is the future of MSNBC? Is NBC with falling ratings network wide going to spend the money to upgrade MSNBC to the visual and content quality of Fox and CNN? If they do not, the MSNBC network will continue to lose viewers and revenues. Liberal viewers will likely continue to migrate to CNN and the rest have gone to FOX. If MSNBC does not upgrade or change direction soon, I believe they will be to first big news network to fold.
