A Strange Wind Blowing

There is a strange wing blowing, can you feel it? I am reminded of the old, supposedly, Chinese proverb, "may you live in interesting times". There is no mistaking that, the times they are a' changing.

Europe is disintegrating right before our eyes. A fabricated construct of people who do not even necessarily like each other, not only, from country to country but sometimes, even, region to region. In it's ashes we will probably see the emergence of a hard left. The Europeans will never abort communism - they, after all, they invented it. Our notion of "saving" Europe from communism was a seventy year foolish quest, which will now end. They lust for communism, and they will get it sooner than anyone thinks. It is 50 years too late and justly deserved.

North and South Korea are on the brink of war. Nuclear powers, both. Let us not forget we have 28,000 troops on the border of North Korea and we currently have no leadership. None. What happens when Korea goes hot and 28,000 US troops are caught in a crossfire with no leadership or support from Washington?

Oil is leaking into the gulf, Israelis are performing frequent and serious bomb shelter drills with their citizens, The US is on the verge of economic collapse, Japan is even worse off , Venezuela is taking full advantage in South America and I do believe we are nearing the first battle salvos of the war of the Southwest, if they haven't occurred already.

The world is going to hell and Obama is driving us there on the short "green" ethanol fueled bus. Not only that, without getting too much into his psychology, which is an endlessly fascinating subject for me, Obama is giving the impression of someone who is about to unravel.

What does America look like when the dust settles? That is the question that determines the fate, not only, of Americans but of the entire world. America, the concept, is an anomaly, not just in recent history but in human history. Actually, the American 20th century was entirely an abboration in the history of the world. Think about this, at one time we had 80% of the world’s GDP and not even 10% of the world’s population. Americans really have been spoiled like no other people with peace, prosperity and a bubble that allowed a spoiled warped perception to take hold.

All that is ending. We will lose our innocence and ignorance in the next decade. Serious damage is being done to the country.
Most places, you can’t walk outside, or turn on your television and see the damage yet, but it is most certainly taking place. This is a battle to determine which belief system will prevail—individual freedom, or “shared sacrifice”.

They do not call it communism when it comes. Communism starts in meeting halls and in union marches. It won't come with tanks rolling down the streets or midnight raids, that all comes later. Today's communist party consists of about 25 people and a xerox machine. Almost nobody is a formal communist any more. By virtue of leftist infiltration of the educational system going back 70 or more years, people have been taught to believe everything the communists believed in, while laughing at the idea they are communists. Mere use of the label provokes laughter.

This is the international globalist communist revolution the left planned for since it's inception. The chaos all around it is it's oxygen. Freedom is very fragile and Americans, by-and-large, have grown extremely arrogant. Much more prideful than the founders and more than our own grandparents who feared and loathed communism for good reason.

A Thirst for History And Current Events: Good Omen

I now know that I am far from alone in my beliefs and at least most of my opinions.  Facts and History do not lie, and the truth is hard to hide forever.  I like most bloggers started this blog as a way to vent.  We all felt alone, isolated, in a world gone completely insane.

I have always read…no other words will work…A LOT.  I am always reading something.  Except for about 4 shows on TV and “guy” movies, I read.  My tastes have typically been toward thrillers, sci-fi, mysteries, and military history.  Mid 2008 I really began reading more straight history.  I started by reading the history of farming in America.  This was brought about by the death of my step dad.  He was a mechanic and left me his last project, a 54 model Ford tractor.  See, he was a ‘54 model too and he always wanted a tractor like his dad had when he was little, but he died before he could finish it.  When I started learning about it, I learned more about the history of Farming.  I am getting off point, but the history of Ford Tractors, along with Deere and International Harvester, is the history of Farming, and the history of Farming is the History of America.

I first started watching Glenn Beck in 2008 as well.  I was on a work trip to Fort Worth and walked into the hotel room and HLN was on and there was this guy ranting about Government…not Elephants or Donkeys…just crooked politicians in general and I thought, “who is this guy..and on HLN?”  At the time, I didn’t watch the news, ever.

But I didn’t like what was going on.  I didn’t have Bush Derangement syndrome, but I sure thought he was heading us down the wrong path.  Then when I saw who was running on the D and R tickets, I could tell those jokers were not going to make it better.  I knew that the answers to my uncertainty could be found by reading more about what has happened in the past.  So I began to read political and History books.  Which gets me back on point.

When I started reading more history and politics there didn’t seem to be a lot of demand for these topics.  Bookstores in my area had maybe two shelves of politics and one or two rows of history.  A  lot of those were more coffee table type books that are all fluff and no substance.  There were a lot of “get out of debt” books, but they were personal debt, not national debt.

After the election we were buried by books about Chairman Zero.  Then older books became more popular, and were followed by a lot of newer books. The History Channel’s: The Story of Us is the most highly watched documentary they have ever done.   27 of the top 100 bestsellers on Amazon.com right now are in the field of History, Politics, or economics, and only one is pro-Obama.  The biographies of several of the Founders and THE FEDERALIST PAPERS are on the bestselling list!  Could you have even found a copy of the Federalist papers in a bookstore 5 years ago?

A Patriots History of the United States is number 56 on B&N’s Bestseller list for the Year!   I am reading this book, and it is no easy task.  It is a big thick textbook, no pictures, no graphs, no maps…nuthin.  Just the story of how we came to be in this particular place and time.

People are reading, people are learning, people are watching.  Everywhere I go people talk about history or politics. This gives me  hope.

Depression!

The media is not saying it, but deep down we all know it's true. Yes, it's the "D" word. Recently, Ben (Beavis) Bernanke; head of the international criminal bankers organization (you probably know it as the FED) announced that "the recession is over." I actually agreed but not for the reason given by the DC mafia. The recession IS over because The Depression has set in. Making matters worse, 4 senate Rinos and the entire communist party voted for "the financial reform bill." Does anybody reading this believe that nationalizing my credit union (I refuse to set foot in banks)? Consider this, when you deposit money in a credit union, you become "part owner" in the Credit Union. Now, the same rules have been put on my Credit Union (which had no "toxic assets") as banks that recieved Tarp nationalization. Rumor has it, wording was snuck into the "financial reform" bill that will allow the government to raid 401k retirement funds as well. I guess that they will nationalize my toilet tomorrow because after GM, Chrysler, the banks (big and small), the healthcare industry, the Internet (under net neutrality), the EPA cracking down on breathing, etc...what's left? "Land of the free"-my big fat asphalt!!! The only thing that's free anymore is air (but that's about to change), right? Yesterday, the mafia Director of Intellegence" was given a pink slip. It's not like anything will change. The (former) Director of Intelligence will be doing the same thing today that he did everyday since he was hired...nothing. There is no intelligence in the regime to direct. President Crackhead eliminated all intelligence in our government via his "czars." There are some people that have the "Midas touch". That is where anything such a person gets his hands on seems to turn to gold. The puppet currently occupying the White House has the "Hanky touch." That is where anything you touch turns to a turd. President Crackhead has touched a large part of our economy. Meanwhile, the media is trying to polish a giant turd by hiding the fact that we are in financial collapse...likely a depression that will make the 1930s look like the 1980s. The sad fact is we are bringing the rest of the world into this depression as well. The entire world uses our currency and we, through financial as well as diplomatic foreign policy have filled the world with and supported tinhorn dictators. Now we have one too...and an economic depression too. This is not the first time we have been in that situation. We had similar economic and social decay when Woodrow Wilson and FDR (both dictators for life). We also had two world wars during those years. Unfortunately, now we and many other nations have the military capacity to end all life on Earth. I also believe the commander in chief of our military would not hesitate to, nor feel remorse for using our nuclear capacity on his greatest enemy..us. That would bring about a "fundamental transformation. Depressed yet???
